Unlock Vista’s Hidden Boot Screen
I was reading the Sep 08 issue of PCWorld and chanced upon this hack which I though is worth sharing. It’s simple enough and the effects is pretty good. What you get with this hack is instead of the blank screen with loading text during boot up, you get a cool Aurora boot screen without the need to install 3rd party applications.

1. Click the “Start Orb”
2. In the search bar, type msconfig and press enter.
3. Go to the Boot tab.
4. Check the “No GUI boot”
5. You will be prompted to restart, that’s it. You should see a brand new boot screen. Go ahead, spread the word!
