ZEN Krystal

It seems I have identified the MP3 player to replace my aging iPod Shuffle 2G. Personally, I feel the market for a dedicated MP3 player is diminishing with the ubiquity of MP3 playing device, most notably even in low end mobile phones. So what makes the ZEN Krystal worth getting?
Specification

Work out to the invigorating beat of the music with the ZEN Krystal.
The perfect companion for avid sportsmen, go the distance with the first Creative player to sport a built-in pedometer function. Track your runs and see how much calories you have burnt with the calorie counter. You can even wear the player on your body with the bundled wrist strap and capture your personal bests with the stopwatch feature.

As you can see, the Krystal features built-in pedometer for you to track your workout. So that’s to say kiss the Nike + iPod goodbye. The Krystal features 4GB, iPod shuffle physique, FM radio, drag and drop file transfer, and has a OLED screen for the grand price of HK$698.00 or around $130, compare that with the 2GB iPod shuffle at $108. My mantra in gadgets is anything cheaper and better is worth upgrading, and there’s just no competition in sight for a MP3 player with the sleek design, great price, and functionality.
However, there’s just one problem, its not available in Singapore… How ironic that Creative, a home grown Singapore company which have been facing difficulties in recent times, finally come up with a winner, it’s not available in the motherland…… Frankly, I can’t think of any reason for this to happen. Can someone please enlighten me?
Anyway, I just have to add: “iPod nano 4G, what a joke!”
