Web Applications worth a look
This post is dedicated to web applications which will make a difference to you. No fancy geeks’ wetdreams, or some millionaire idea sprung from the hostel. If it is here, it works. The list is not exhaustive and is bias to my own experiences and needs. This post will be constantly updated if I find any other worthy mention.

Description: Read magazines online the way it should be. You can literally browser through the magazine, an elegant implementation, best in its class.

Category: Outsourcing
Description: Not really a web application, but if redefines the way you work, and brings outsourcing / offshoring to the masses. Gives meaning to “globalization” for the uninitiated. An alternative is Elance.

Category: Analysis
Description: Doing research is more than googling for a subject. Value add by giving comparative analysis.

Description: Need to draft a document. You don’t have to start from scratch. No more excuses. An alternative is Scribd

Category: Forms
Description: Easy and intuitive way to design forms for anything. From simple forms for survey and invitations, to complex ordering and invoicing forms. An alternative is Formsite.
Kyolo

Category: Graphics
Description: Kyolo is special in that it does only one thing, and does it very well. It provides a real solution to a problem which will save time for both experts and beginners alike. Don’t know what is speech bubble? Check it out and be amazed by how useful this tool could be. An alternative is Speechable if square bubbles is what you’re looking for.

Description: Outsourcing should not be restricted to commerce task. From everyday chores such as walking the dog to picking up the laundry, get a life and get someone to “do your stuff”.
