Going Green? Its about Dollars and Cents
Personally, I believe the global “green” movement we are seeing right now are noting more than marketing strategies for branding, positioning and product differentiation, catering to the market trends. The companies wants us to believe that we can make a difference in playing our part in reducing greenhouse emission, and therefore make purchase decision based on the products “green” properties, which they often fail to inform us have the highest margins, and is at the expense of the consumer.
At the end of the day, its the bottom line that impacts the organization decision to adopt “green” best practices, and I doubt many people will argue this. However if this “motivator” can lead to companies to continue develop products or practices that are environmentally friendly, then I am all for it, but definitely not at the expense of the consumer.
Listed below are some interesting initiatives which can potentially have a big impact on the fight against global warming, but let’s see how many of these initiatives goes mainstream in the not too distance future……

To a smaller extend, I hope to propagate the ideology of Crowdsourcing, as I see it as the best mechanism in regulating our unregulated capitalistic world, overcoming humanity's trait of greed, self interest, and fear, in arriving at the best decision.

Hi nice post, i have come across your site once before when searching for something so i was just wondering something. I love your theme, would it happen to be a free one i can download, or is it a custom one you had made? In a few weeks i will be launching my own site, i’m not great with designs but i really like the style of your site so it would be cool if i could find (or pay for) something with a similar look. :) Thanks!
